Our company, TOROLA design s.r.o., is the manufacturer of enterprise information system called Smart TDM G2. It is a multipurpose information system, offering wide variety of functions, including fleet and cargo monitoring.

What is Terminal G2 mobile application used for
The Terminal G2 mobile application is part of the Smart TDM G2 enterprise information system. This mobile application is intended primarily for company car drivers. The main purpose of Terminal G2 mobile application is to display a list of tasks for drivers and record location information related to these tasks. This mobile application is intended to replace all outdated ways of filling out paper forms.
What personal information we process
In the following list we declare all personal data, which our Terminal G2 mobile application processes:
1) CREDENTIALS
Why we need it:
To verify that a driver is authorized user of Smart TDM G2, we need to process the following data: numerical company ID, username, and password.
How we process it:
Credentials are checked on Smart TDM G2 servers to verify that the driver is a valid Smart TDM G2 user. The driver has the option to save credentials on his device for subsequent logins.
2) IMAGE CAPTURE (access to camera)
Why we need it:
Each vehicle connected to the Smart TDM G2 system can be equipped with a unique QR code. The driver scans the QR code using his mobile device, which then uses it to automatically identify the driver's current vehicle. This prevents errors caused by incorrect manual identification of the vehicle by its driver.
How we process it:
We will check the scanned QR code on Smart TDM G2 servers to identify the driver's vehicle and automatically show the driver all tasks related to his vehicle. We do not use camera for any other purposes.
3) LOCATION (access to location while the application is in the background)
Why we need it:
The location of the device is used to generate evidence of the performance of the tasks assigned to the vehicle. It is also used to warn against failing to perform these tasks. For example, leaving the customer area when the driver has not completed his tasks.
How we process it:
To warn against not fulfilling assigned tasks, Terminal G2 mobile application constantly monitors the device's location, even when the application is in the background and the driver is using another application. When the driver leaves the customer’s area without completing all his assigned tasks, the application displays a warning to the driver. This alert is generated locally on the device without sending the device location to any server.
Terminal G2 mobile application records the location of the device only for selected events marked manually by the driver. For example, when the driver confirms arrival at the customer. These records are sent to the Smart TDM G2 server for storage and are later used to generate reports and invoices.
Application does not use any other way of processing location.
Who has access to your data
Selected Smart TDM G2 users from the driver's company have access to data recorded by Terminal G2 mobile application. Access to this data is controlled on the basis of user rights. Consent to the processing of personal data is part of the process of assigning user rights in the Smart TDM G2 system.
Our company TOROLA design s.r.o. does not have access to any data recorded by Terminal G2 mobile application.
